+1.. its really easy to do. If you don't feel like reading just play with the BC computer button on the turn signal. I believe its in the "key&lock" looking symbol menu but I could be wrong. Long time since I looked for it.

Since you have Idrive. Go to the idrive menu. Go to lighting section and uncheck DRL's.

I don't have iDRIVE but I would like to just have the angel eyes not the angel eyes WITH the DRL's on. How do you do this? Mine is a Canadian model.

I had an E90 for a loaner last week and tried to do this too--couldn't do it--I don't think the E90 DRL's look very good--I was hoping to make the angels the DRL's since I was gonna have the car a few days--but no dice....

They weren't on the E90 I just had--it was a '07 328xi--it looked like the E46 DRL's--the inner round light was fully lit--you could not see the angels at all.

Now, when the Xenons were on--THEN you could see the angels--but not until then.

You had a U.S. spec e90 and couldn't turn off the DRLs? I think you weren't looking in the right place. I know for a fact that its possible. I however prefer DRLs on at all times. Being that I was almost hit several times in my previous non-DRLs having silver civic. People would just pull out in front of me as if I wasn't there.

I know--it was. My normal car is an E92--the angels as DRLs look very good. But I looked thru the whole menu via the toggle switch and couldn't figure out how to change it.

Would look a lot better like the E92, especially since the angels are complete circles on the E90, unlike the E92, where they do not connect at the top.

I wasn't trying to turn them off--just make the angels operate as DRL--couldn't figure out how to do that.

DRLs for the e90 have the inner "flasher" part of the headlight assembly lit up. Our AEs only come on if the parking lights or driving lights are on.

Not possible using a standard BMW method on current-to-date e90s. It is possible though.
