Going to track soon.. fuel mixtures?

Will I get more performance from 100octane/e85 mixture or am I better off with pure 100 octane.. Are the benefits of a race gas so minimal over 91/e85 that its a waste of money?

EDIT: Running a JB4 with latest firmware, DCI, CP-e catless DPs. Right now I'm thinking of using 100/e85.. e85 is 10 minutes from my house and I'm going to the drag strip

What kind of track - drag or road course? What tune do you have? Do you log? What's the color of your interior?

E85 > race gas, proving to be much better at extracting significantly more power and has even better charge cooling capabilities especially since we're direct-injected.

Yeah, it helps if you can tune the car and take advantage of the extra octane. If not, just add a coupe gallons of E85 or 100 (whatever's more convenient) for a little safety margin.

I am going to track day next week too. Wondering if I should use pure 92 pump gas (pure racing gas too expensive, lol) or I should use E85/pump gas mixing?
You know our car is made for gasoline only originally. Although I run E85 for daily driving, I don't know if it is safe to running E85/pump gas at the limit/extreme condition on the track.
Any recommendation?

Generally a 40% mix of E85 is suggested for the maximum gains with fewest headaches. Making big tuning changes before a track day is also a good recipe for headaches too.

So you mean 40% is the best mixture of E85? I am running 30% of E85 because considering to the long term reliability of the engine. I thought less E85 is safer but of course less gains, is that true? Or you think 40% of E85 is the safest mix percentage?
And I don't understand your last sentence, sorry about my English..
Thanks

He's saying that it's a bad idea to make a large change to your tune on the day before a track event. It's best to test out a new fuel and tune before the big event so you have a chance to make adjustments.
