Body shop in So. bay area?
Well, to make a long story short, I made the big mistake of taking my wifes new e91 to a nearby car wash - one that we NEVER take our cars to. The dudes that drive the cars out of the wash to the drying area weren't fast enough so it slammed into a truck's trailer hitch in front of it, smashing the front bumper (I'll post pics later). There were probably 40-50 cars there at the time with about 20 or so workers. I was so pissed I felt like burning the place down.
Yeah, I know I shouldn't take the car to the car wash, but now its a bit too late. The car wash has agreed to pay for all of the damages but now I have to find a place that will do the work. Any one have any recommendation of a good body shop in the San Jose -> Cupertino/ South Bay area they can recommend? Im sure the whole bumper will need to be replaced. I'll probably need to get a 3m clear bra on it now as well, since its Jet Black and the paint surely wont be as strong as a factory finish. On the plus side, at least I can get a new bumper with out the lic. plate drill holes. |

i had a great experience with Costelli and Pardini (San Mateo) not perfect location for you, but worth the drive in my opinion.

My friend owns a body shop right behind the San Jose airport.

You can try Reliance Auto Body in San Jose.
They've always taken care of my car and my body kits. They're pricey too but since its paid for, doesn't hurt. Ask for Tracy and say you're referred by Phuong(pronoucned like FONG). http://relianceab.com/

Jim at Fine Line in San Bruno, he is a one man shop and a real pro especially with paint.

Thanks guys, I'll try a few of these out. I'll probably get a 3m clearbra too while Im at it. Interesting that there are just so many body shops to choose from in the area - they must make quite a bit of dough.
Oh, and btw, stay away from the Classic Car Wash on Almaden in San Jose - yeah they're taking care of it, but this is just too much trouble to go through for something that isn't our fault. Heres some pics of the damage for those who enjoy looking at gore. |

Aww man... Never ever go to Classic Car Wash then. If you live in San Jose area, try AJ Detailing next time at Taylor St and Campbell close to SJC
