E46 M3 crashes into rocks
I searched and I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Check out this kids superior driving style and hand placement on the wheel.

Well give me the benefit of the doubt, I posted it in the correct section. So I only searched the correct section.
Plus, this forum has sucked lately, so I only really get on to look at the off topic section and turbo section.

He turns it a bit but his front end might as well have been 5 feet in the air. I think as soon as he realizes the nose isn't changing direction, he just stops trying to turn. Tough lesson about elevation changes, this isn't NFS.

Something seems odd about this video.
Look at the airbag it does not look like it fully inflated, you can still see the wrinkles in the bag from being pack in the steering wheel. Also it deflated almost immediately. Even time I seen them deploy they are completely smooth no wrinkles and they stay inflated for a while to the point you have to actually push on them to deflate. As other indicated it appears he caught air just as he come over the rise in the road and tried turning and it just went straight, not sure of he landed with the wheels turn of the car would have responded and turn and avoided the roads, hard to say unless you were there to see what exactly happen. |

He did steer. The car's front was slightly airborne as he was speeding over the incline and so the car understeered. All in all, he was going way too fast on a road he was not familiar with. Luckily he crashed before hitting an oncoming vehicle and was not hurt.

Yeah thats because that steering rack wasss broke. And all airbags usually deflate fairly quickly. If they stayed inflated like a balloon you would bounce right off of them and die. I don't know what airbags you guys have seen but they all look like that. Maybe you are used to seeing them in slow motion...
