Advice? Aluminum trim install in OC or LA area.
Hi I'm a noob who's been lurking for a while and this is my first post.
I have an '06 325i and I would like to swap the existing wood interior trim out for brushed aluminum. I found a kit of (genuine BMW) aluminum trim parts on eBay but I don't want to do the install myself - I'm too scared I'll screw it up. Any advice on who in OC (or LA area) could install the kit at a reasonable price for me? Someone who knows what they are doing - unlike me! I haven't bought the kit yet - want to be sure someone can do this for me. Suggestions (or alternatives) would be appreciated. Thanks Mike |

Longtran is always a good option, he's changed the trim before, I know that. He's going to do mine, so that's my vouch!

What are the potential sources for an aluminum kit? i) an owner who wants to remove aluminum from his/her car in order to install CF or something - this is "used" and potentially has scratches/dents etc ii) from a dealer - new at full price... iii) from eBayers who cobble together a kit from individual (new) BMW parts Any other sources/suggestions for a kit? Thanks in advance! Mike |

I'll unload my aluminum trim after Long installs my new trim for me. My new trim arrives 7/31. So hopefully Mr. Tran has some time for me that week or weekend. My car only has 2200 miles on it and everything is in good condition AFAIK.

My fault, it looks like I missed a tint little detail there.
