335i makes sweet coolant smell?

As soon as i got my 335 i i notice a sweet coolant smell, after driving around for awhile. I notice it a litte more when i drive harder then normal.

Does anyone else car smell like this? Im worried coolant might be leaking somwere.

Thanks

Mine did the same thing. It happened around 2 - 3k miles. Kinda freaked me out too but I think its normal.

+1 but i have a 330i with 42+ K miles and a water pump failure in the first 6 months of ownership. Car has always had the coolant smell but not sure if related to bad water pump.

Just wondering if it could in fact be the windshield washer fluid?

If you are smelling it on a new car it is probably cosmoline burning and is normal.
