Clutch Delay Valve .. it restricts the amount of fluid ... which .. I have had my modified CDV valve sitting in my garage for over a year now ... not sure I want to switch it .. lol.

it's a subtle diff but I notice it and enjoy my car soo much more. When I drive n shift aggressively, I'm now rewarded with bliss rather than smacked on the hand with a jerky shift/clutch engagement.

Save those "nannies" for those who don't know how to properly use a third pedal... This is a must do IMO

It restricts the amount of clutch fluid, resulting in a bit of lag in clutch engagement. Removing it or replacing it with a modified one gives you crisper clutch engagement. It's there to "protect" the clutch but can cause a bit of premature wear from the clutch slipping a bit during hard/fast shifts. Removing/modifying it also makes rev-matching/heel-toe'ing easier and more precise.

does this do anything for daily driving? i used to shift low (2000-2500k) for some stupid reason lol but after shifting higher up at 3000-3500, i can get smooth shifts more often (not all the time still). i drive modestly otherwise.

my main battle with a 6MT is getting the going without the clutch "chattering". i either have to very slowly let the clutch out or rev to 800-1000rpm then let it out but that burns the clutch.

I wouldnt say 800-1000 RPM burns the clutch. Thats about where i let it out, but maybe thats why i need a new clutch

Youll never get rid of the chatter cause its the dual mass flywheel thats chattering. Its doing what its designed to unfortunately and the chatter is a by product.

would you say it's normal then? or is the chattering a result of an incorrect clutch engagement?
