You may have shadow codes, could be spark plugs (misfires). Hold old are the spark plugs that's always the first question (and logs).

Most likely it's just your "Fuel Open Looping" not being at the correct value. When running E-85 the fuel open looping value changes after every time you fill up because the E-85 to gas ratio changes obviously. I just do a few 3rd gear pulls and let the car shift itself @7k until I can feel that my car is dialed in. It will most likely give you the pause you're referring to but after a few pulls you'll fuel open looping value will adjust so that your car doesn't run too lean and bog down. Or it could just be your fuel pump failing but if you're not getting CEL's and no high revs on start ups then I doubt it's your fuel pumps.

We recommend 15-20K for plugs on tuned cars!

Ive had a bunch of misfires, its always been a coil pack. My 1st 335 had over 50k on original plugs, and I''m over 40k now on second 335i. Maybe its just me. both cars tuned most of time.
