How much hp and torque can the OEM cluth hold?

Just wondering how much torque can the oem clutch and a 335i hold? I just had it replaced and was wondering if i got a tune if it would be able to hold the power?

I don't know the exact number but I've been Full bolt on for about 15,000 miles so far with no clutch problems, and I started modding at 89,000 miles

It really depends on how you drive. I wouldn't worry about it with just a tune. It should hold just fine at those power levels. I have 73000 miles on my stock clutch and I am FBO+Meth. It just recently started slipping in higher gears, but I never really did hard launches on it.

Mine too, that seems to be about the number. Cold days, getting on it at under 3000 rpm in 3rd or 4th gear, to really let the boost build up, and it would slip.

I'm at about 500wtq with 55k miles and I've only my stock clutch slip once on the highway when I was passing someone is 6th gear.

The stock clutch is pretty strong..... for stock.

Mine started slipping at 50k FBO on pump. FBO for 2k (owned for that long.)
Slipping started during a 150mile trip driving with excellence in 6th gear. It'll stand up to FBO for short hops, but prolonged driving / track duty will see it begin to fail.

Thanks everyone for the input. I just had the clutch replaced and i was regretting not going with something that can handle more power but im not planning on doing a single turbo or anything so i should be fine. Thanks

450wtq is when mine started slipping. If I go to a less agressive map it doesn't do it. Like previously stated its all about how it's driven.
