Clearance Issues with M Sport Brakes and Elbrus I08s
I apologize if this has been answered previously but does anyone know if 18" Elbrus I08 wheels will clear M Sport Brakes on a F30 XDrive. Thanks

ive spent lots of time with tire rack and these m performance brakes. bmw will not release the cad drawings of the brakes or of the OEM wheels to tire rack for them to assess proper fit. tire rack no longer guarantees fit if they know the car has m performance brakes. living just a few hours from their facility in south bend indiana, i offered them to have my car for an afternoon for some type of promotional compensation so they could take measurements and help me find 18s. they said no thanks and advised going with a 19'' wheel instead. and, not all 19s they sell will fit either. the hat clearance these performance brakes require is significant.
im now running 19'' asa gt5 wheels as winter setup. d'oh!

Just to clarify here we might be talking about 2 things:
The M SPORT brakes meaning the standard calipers on an M-sport? Those will clear the regular calipers fine with the 18" Elbrus wheels. If you're referirng to the M Performance brakes (the upgraded package) I couldn't give you a straight answer. Does the M performance brake upgrade mandate the 19" wheel upgrade? I didn't think it did, which would lead me to believe you might be OK with the 18's but that's just a theory.
