iPod Velcro Pouch

I have the 6FL option and bought the #$%# cable, but still don't have the velcro pouch. Did anyone get this with their car or do we Cdn have to separately order it? Sigh.

I recieved my car in July and it had the velcro pouch attached under the armrest....

i think you only get the velcro pouch if you order it from the factory....up2nogood (glen) has the velcro pouch..

Do you mean order the p/n or order the 6FL option?
BMW Canada says that I have to order it separately, so I'm surprised that someone got it.

i meant if you order it when you order the car...pre-delivery. basically a factory installed option. otherwise, no velcro pouch.

The Y adapter does not come with 6FL in Canada. I believe the going rate for the cable is around $110. Check with your dealer.

My car is a May production and the pouch and a USB cable came as part of the 6FL option. The iPod Y cable cost me around $70 in June but I believe it went up to $110 since.

I ordered the 6FL and picked up my car in Jun.......i got the leather pouch (factory installed) and I had to purchase the cable ~ $40 with the 15% discount.

I've sent an email to my CA and I'll see if he gets to the bottom of this. I'm also going to keep visiting the dealership until I see a car with the 6FL option on it (and pouch). Otherwise nobody listens.

What is your car's built date according to the door frame sticker??

Looks like I'll get it as a warranty item. Apparently there was a bulletin or email about it but service dept never saw one. Build was early March.
