E92 rear seat passenger egress/ingress

Am I missing something with the rear seats? It seems there's no quick way to let rear passengers in and out? When you pull on the handle on the upper corner of the seat, the seat angles forward but the bottom doesn't go anywhere..it's not like any other coupe I've owned. I end up using the electric control at the bottom of the seat as well as the handle.

Fortunately I don't worry much, but it is painfully slow.

I wonder if the manual seats worked like conventional coupes in which you can "kick" a pedal and the seat moves forward instantly. If so, that's definitely an advantage to manual seats

There's also the electronic control that's next to the handle that you use to angle the seat forward, but it is slow. My last car would angle all the way forward and then move the seat bottom all the way forward as well without having to press any additional buttons. And when you pushed the seatback back into place it would move the seat bottom back to the place it was before, much easier.

Don't you have the electric switch near this handle?

Sorry I wasn't clear; yes I do have that, but it's not a one touch back, one touch forward operation like it should be.

Oh, I see. No one gets in the back seat of our coupe, so we haven't used the switch at all.
