I was in Phoenix on business a few weeks ago. I stayed at the Westin and absolutely loved it.
http://www.westinphoenixdowntown.com Depends on how much you're looking to spend, of course. The hotel isn't cheap. I think my company paid $400+ per night or so. I've stayed at the Hyatt on business before, as well, and it was great. http://phoenix.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotel...index.jsp?null It was a bit cheaper, from what I remember. Like $250ish per night vs. $400. |

I was just at Arizona Grand Resort last week for a corporate meeting. I think my company paid around $200 per night, and had a very good time there. Played at the resort golf course too, which was like $60-80 with elec cart. I don't trip much, but one of the best places I've been to.

You're prob not going to find too many hotel options on such short notice, many/most are prob already booked.
But it really depends on your budget and with whom your travelling, if guys then you want W in Scottsdale, if wife/gf then just somewhere decent/nice in Scottsdale. Best nightlife, restaurants and WM open are all in Scottsdale, so that's where I'd look for a hotel. Best of luck. |

Shucks its going to be great out there this time of year.
If you get bored, and i doubt you will, between Phoenix and Tucson there is a drop zone with it's own vertical wind tunnel. I think they charge about $20/min. And if the golden knights aren't using it, go out and give it a shot. |

Do you want to be as close as possible to Scottsdale for the WM tournament?
You can look into The Buttes if you don't mind the distance. Stayed at it about 12 years ago and then 1 1/2 years ago again. Nice place but not as close to Scottsdale as some options but not very far either considering where else you can stay in Phoenix. Last edited by AllydNYC; 01-26-2013 at 03:31 PM.. |
