If you can afford an Eisenmann, it will transform the car...its just like a BMW, on paper its like w.e, but you have to drive and hear it to understand that exotic tone.....

Have you heard a Bastuck in person? Both mufflers are hand made in Germany. I went with the Bastuck because I did not want any droning. I have been happy with the Bastuck.

I'd say that its hard for you to go wrong with either of them really.
My advice would be to go with the Bastuck. No doubt the sound will be VICIOUS either way!!

I am personally partial to the Eisenmann exhaust myself.
Let me know if you do decide on going with Eisenmann, as we carry it on our site. Feel free to ask me any other questions too. -Don |

I never said that Eisenmann was garbage. Its obviously popular with you guys in the states. I just think its pretty ignorant to say that its better than bastuck when you've never even heard it.

I love the Eisemann exhaust on my 335i. I hear it everyday. I can not compare it to the Bastuck, as I have not heard it, but I would not change even if I did. Eisemann looks great and sounds even better.

I believe I can speak from first hand experience, as I sell Eisenmann exhausts, am the US distributor of Bastuck exhausts, and hear both systems back to back nearly every day.
The Eisenmann system has aggressive looks, and aggressive sound. This system is for the enthusiast that uses his car on the weekends, or is not concerned about clients or coworkers being put off by the extra noise. It is not conservative, and is for the enthusiast that enjoys having his car draw attention. The Bastuck features very clean OEM looks, and a more refined and conservative tone. You still bring out the beautiful sound of the BMW inline 6 at wide open throttle, but the sound is less race car and more powerful luxury GT. The exhaust is a pleasure to listen to on the highway, and will not offend conservative clients or employers. Industry as a company chooses which products it carries very carefully, in order to present only the absolute best to the enthusiast. The quality of both of these systems is unparalleled, and second to none. The sound of each is incredible and is well worth the purchase price. Simply put, the systems are different systems, targeting different enthusiasts. If you're more the conservative type but want a beautiful unique tone, get the Bastuck. If you are the extroverted enthusiast and enjoy somewhat more attention grabbing cars, the Eisenmann is your best choice.

Ilia -- have you ever noted any drone within the cabin, particularly with the Eisenmann? By drone, I mean loud and painful, not just the sound of a happy engine. I get a note that reverbs and makes parts of the interior buzz. I can hardly think that companies with engineering reputation of BMW and Eisenmann, and the people who would combine said technologies, would find this acceptable.

I'd say that statement could generally describe all Bastuck and Eisenmann exhausts.
