Plasti Dip your kidney grills?
I just thought of any alternative way to quickly turn my kidney grills to gloss or matte black for under $20 rather than the $150 for the performance grills and labor. Has anyone took this route and whats the outcome?
The only issue I can think of is behind the grills.... would I need to cover it up behind the grills? If so where can I access that? (I havent check) THANKS EVERYONE

Also some additional info here:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=780428 I am planning to do it when it gets a little warmer. You need to cover up the area behind the grills with cardboard.

The grills are pretty tight for a trash bag to fit in there isn't it. and it will be hard to keep it from touch the grills once its behind.

I had my entire F30 dipped at 6 Speed Motorsports and they only masked the glass and peeled off the areas that I didn't want the plastic dip on it. I did matte white with black grilles and wheels.
