Oil Service won't reset?
Morning guys,
So I had my oil changed in mid December and all of a sudden last week the service light started counting down miles for Oil Service again. Well today it finally went red and started counting miles negatively. I tried to reset the light manually, but the car wont take it. I do the entire process correctly up to where the little clock starts spinning after holding the reset, but the car isn't picking it up. Has anyone else had this problem? I should also mention that the oil level in the car is reading as at MIN, but I was always told I shouldn't add oil until the car actually says to. Also I checked under the hood and Im not seeing any loss of oil anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. |

They said it was something wrong in the electronics that kept making the sensor go crazy, and no I actually just got it serviced again this weekend and ive now put 120 miles on it since its return, but if its like the past two times itll be back on again in the next few days. If it works ill go back and query for more information in a couple weeks on what happened and what they did to fix it.
