3-Gauge Setup
This is the first test-fit of my tripple gauge setup. This is done with original radio cover, fiberglass, bondo and a little know-how. I will have to relocate the heated seats button somewhere but that is the least of my concearns. The most work is done.
Ok...if somebody steals this idea, this is where it has been stolen from...lol I'll post finished pics when I am done with the wiring and relocating of the heated seats buttons. |

Not bad, not lookin totally stock though. I think that placement is more practical than the ashtray, but less "cool" factor. With the ashtray placement, you kind of have to take your eyes totally off the road to check it.; And I'm pretty sure that has been done on a few cars before, so i wouldnt worry about anyone stealing it from you. Throw upo some more pics; drivers eye view if you can. looks good

hey retrodrive...it looks like the radio (where the cd goes) doesn't sit flush with the trim. Is that just because its a test fitting?
nice job on the gauges!

I believe it is because of the test fitting. See the wire hanging down on the left side of the face plate? I looks like the trim isn't put in all the way.

I wanted to do that but there is no room behind that plastic trim because of the CCC. Didnt know the blitz gauges were that thin..

Looks good by the way. Not my cup of tea, but good work none the less.

Yeah, its not completely installed...I still have to rout the wiresand relocat the heated seats buttons. Just wanted to through them in for HIN LA. I'll post more pics when done.
I decided not to do the ashtray because my processor for audio system is going there. Somebody has done it before but I want to do it so it is integrated better and looks like stock. |

sorry, not feeling it.
Appearance wise, all that chrome (?) ring chepens the interior, imo. Hopefully, the gauges are useful for u. However, IMO again, its situated too low to be useful in high speed driving. What do they gauge, BTW? Good luck with it, tho.

+1 for knowing what you're monitoring.
Hard to tell, but it looks like Oil Pressure, Boost, then something else. Maybe EGT. In metric I'm guessing?

Oil Temp, Boost, EGT...nice guess!
This is pretty shitty picture...let me git-r-done and post how it really looks. The trim on gauges is brushed aluminum and it matches interior aluminum pieces on the air bag and shifter really well. From the seating position the gauges are very easy to read from a glance. Now I just need my shift light |
