two questions:
where in Toronto can I get 93 octane for my e93.

second question is why should I use this high grade fuel on a leased car?

In Toronto, there's only 87,89,91 or 94 octane; no 93.They sell 94 at Sunoco.

Your car needs 91 octane as a minimum, to prevent the remote possibility of engine damage by knocking, and also to produce the advertised amount of power.

I have read studies that confirm that using a higher octane than recommended is a waste of money. No added performance, no appreciable gain in fuel economy - and ironically, the benefits are the least on more efficient / high specific output engines like in the e9x

But thats not true with Procede. I remember seeing dyno charts with 91 octane and 93 octane. There is hp gained with 93 octane.

whats another 2,3 bucks extra per tank over the 91
1 fill up per week $2.50 x4 10 bucks extra a month and a whopping 120.00 per year wow!!! why not lol

2 fill up per week $5 x 4 = 40 bucks extra a month and a whopping 480.00 per year wow!!! why not waste your money ?? ... LOL

I believe Procede comes with different maps - 91, 94 and higher ones for racing fuel. If you are on a 91 map, 94 won't give you any extra gain . If you are on a 94 map you have to use 94 all the time. So if you can't find a station that sells 94 while on the road you are SOL. I had heard from somewhere that it can be dual loaded with 2 maps and select with a toggle switch. I IM them awhile back to ask about it but they did not reply.

Is it "pure" 94-gasoline or do they mix it with ethanol? You may have some issues with HPFP in the future if they contain more than 8% of ethanols.

I am aware of two cases (one in Montreal and one in BC) where they use 94 and their HPFP failed.
