Dealer Giving the Run around

Well I have been having the trouble with the famous wastegate rattle. They updated the software and replaced the actuators .

2007 335i 6at 43k

I am really tired of hearing this noise but the dealer tells me they " cannot hear it" when it is clearly there . I am trying to sell my car to purchase a new 335i but interest falls once buyers hear the rattle.

Is there anything i can do/say to make them fix it once and for all ?

Or is there anyway to make the noise louder so they can hear it ? i was thinking if there is a vacum somewhere where i can manually open close it enough times to loosen the damn thing ! the car drops value everyday !

Thanks for any input .

I had the same problem and had to get the tech to take a ride with me. I rolled around the lot in first gear accelerating and decelerating with the windows down to recreate it and finally they decided they would replace the turbos

+1. Definitely ask if you can take a ride with the tech or better yet the foreman. Mine are whining (no rattle to speak of) and I'm trying to get them to replace and getting the same push-back.

Yep, sounds like you need new turbos.
