1. Do you have a tune?
2. Without a tune, any performance parts added. You will not get the full HP out of it. Congrats on your car. You're pretty local to me. Hope to see you at a meet sometimes. If you have any questions you can email or pm me. Phong |

FWIW you don't see many AFE downpipes around these parts…I have no experience with them, but I'd stick to the brands that have an established reputation. AR, CPE, MS or the cheaper but quality offerings from BMS and VRSF. Or you can go Supersprint or Akra if you hate your bank account! As was said above, without a tune there's no point IMO. FBO cars without a tune make like 300whp or so, you're missing out on another 70+ whp.

It's not possible to make 3" DP's from end to end due to the mid pipes being 2.5" but there's a few brands that keep the 3" design up until the mid-pipe flange where they inevitably neck down to 2.5".
Our new downpipes utilize a 3" cast mouth, 304 grade stainless steel design and a lifetime guarantee against defects & rattle free fitment, all for well under $400. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions! |

They fit all N54 vehicles. There are also N54 downpipes available for Xi. |

I hope this doesn't constitute to a hi-jack of thread, as I think the info might benefit the OP as well :
Does a 3" tapering down to 2.5" DP (like AR Design) have a performance gain over a full 2.5" DP? Assuming both DPs are catless, and the car is FBO with tune. |
