335iS broke into 11's on JB4/BMS flash ONLY !

After my 12.09 at 116 mph last week I was determined to break into 11's WITHOUT doing exhaust work, FMIC, LSD or upgrading tires etc.

So, last night I ran 3 consecutive 11.9's at 117 and 118 mph! No weight reduction, even left 2 child seats in again, lol

Special thanks to Terry @ BMS! The BMS flash was where it's at! Here is a pic of my car and time slips. Also, will try and post a gopro vid and a couple from the stands.

Congrats....... 3rd 335is to break 11's and great work Terry@BMS

Looks like you got the launch down packed utilizing the kick down to keep the car in the 2500 RPM launch range.

Time slip looks beautiful, cant wait till your IS gets modded to get deeper into the 11s. Keep up the good work. When your all modded we will make an appointment

Thanks Buraq! I def feel better about the launch, but still could use work to perfect. At any rate, Congrats on your 11.78 as well. We don't have to wait until I mod, let's get together one track night - still would make great fun being within a couple tenths side by side.

Will look for some dates before it starts to warm up. Seems your track might be better on traction for non slicks vs PBIR. I might have to make the 2hr drive

So perhaps this suggests that the stock 335is exhaust really does have less restriction than the stock N54 335i coupe exhaust?

Been thinking about making the 335is mufflers my first exhaust mod.

Congrats! You've got that 60' down.
I'm really impressed with those times considering you're a tune only car. I ended up running 12.7, another 12.8 in my tune only 07, but only 1.93 60' at best. Looking at your incar video, the DCT shifts so much quicker then my AT.

^ You use a Cobb AP to load it.

Nice times, very consistent! What fuel were you running?

right now I have JB4 G4 is the BMS something totally different? Or would I have to get a Cobb AP?

I really wanted to doubt this, but seeing the times slips and knowing that he's at sea level makes the claim much less dubious.

Why, there were BMS tune only 335is without the COBB back-end down in the 12.2 range with 2.0 60ft & 90mph 1000ft speeds. The COBB back end is quite effective on these cars & his 60 foot is under 2.0 & is also 3/4mph faster at 1000ft so he definitely have more power.

I just started to use some E85 & am curious about what fuel mix he is running.

If you didnt notice he had negaitve DA. That is plenty for a DCT running 18+ PSI and a good launch to break 11s
