RB PCV rattling sound

Received the RB PCV today and it makes a rattling sound when you move it.
Is this normal or was it messed up in transit?

I think there is a ball bearing inside that is used to open/close the valve. This is what is rattling, most probably...

It is normal, actually when you check a PVC valve it is suppose to rattle a little indicating that it is functioning. I just install RB PVC last month, just make sure you do not over tighten it as Rob indicated I think he said about 8 lb/in

Thanks guys. It does sound like a ball bearing inside.

I tightened it until it was barely flush to the plastic cylinder. Is this OK? I hand tightened it.
