Paddle Shifters Pre-LCI e92 335i

Ok, so I have the auto-tragic with the paddle shifters in my '08 335. I don't have the M sport, but I do have the sport package. I prefer the paddles with - on the left, and + on the right rather than push/pull for down/up shifting. Is there a way to rectify this? Can I just bolt in a new steering wheel with the appropriate paddles?

You can re-wire the paddles you have now to do this. There's a DIY somewhere
