Is there any perk in joining a BMWCCA? If so can anyone please share. I just purchased my 335i about a month ago. Thank you

The discounts alone will pay itself back and if you're buying another BMW anytime soon, you can get a nice rebate check. As a long time member, I can answer whatever question you may have.
Also check to see how active your local chapter is b/c they are the ones putting on the events. When you're ready to join, use the info in my signature as a referral.

Discounts on parts and new car purchase, HOWEVER, you have to be a member for 1yr before you are eligible for the new car purchase rebate.

Nice monthly publication - very fun to read -top quality and news releases. And the rebates are very quick - but as noted one year of membership prior to the rebate. And if you go to the production plant in SC the tour cost is deeply discounted for CCA members. And if you plan to buy or lease two BMW's in the same year get a associate membership for that significant other - both members are eligible for seperate rebates.

I think everyone has mentioned the new car purchase rebates but joining BMWCCA has other perks. There's DIY Forums and Chapter meet ups so you can learn more about your car. Also there's discounts available for parts and non-warrantied service at certain dealerships and independent BMW shops and tuners!
The more active your local chapter, the more perks and benefits available!

.. Got me looking in to it. BMWCCA looks great. Sucks that the nearest chapter is ~200 miles away.

My GF is a BMWCCA member but I am not. The Roundel magazine is a good read and I enjoy that. I doubt I will join since apparently they do not allow any roadsters without a full cage/harness setup on the track, so it seems like my money would best be spent with another club.

If you joined 1 year and 1 day before you purchased the car then you would get some $$ from BMWCCA ( for new and CPO cars only). You also get to join in all the fun with CCA activities, discounts, etc. Meet great people.

I won a new 325iS in the BMWCCA raffle. Not too bad for a $25 ticket. I would say that membership is worthwhile.

BTW, referrals have priviledges. For each referral, CCA members get 1 chance at winning an ///M School weekend at the BMW Performance Center in SC. The more referrals, the more chances to win! Also, to sweeten the pot, for the new members that join CCA, they will be thrown into a separate drawing for an ///M school too More details here: http://www.bmwcca.org/membershipdrive

At EVERY dealer I have been to (and I have been to quite a few) you get that discount if you just ASK for it. I was at my dealer earlier today and got a discount just by asking if the price listed was the best they could do and telling them online its much cheaper. They didnt match the online price (didnt expect em to) but they worked with me on it and I ended up getting a discount. I actually got 20% off, the part was originally $315 he gave it to me for $250.
As far as I can tell the benefits are limited to rebates if you buy a new car and local autoX/track events. And the Roundel magazine. Not worth it to me. CCA isnt cheap. Ill keep using the CCA discount without paying the CCA fees though |

I have had a BMWCCA membership for over a year so am eligible for a rebate. However, if I want to put the vehicle lease all in my wife's name can I add her now as an associate account for the $10 and have only her name on all the purchase/lease documents, title, registration, etc and shave her fill out the rebate form and be eligible?
I know it says Associate members are eligible for the same benefits as the primary member but didn't know if this is a grey area where a recently added Associate member (within a month) could apply for the rebate even though they have not been an Associate member for the one year minimum. They are merely piggybacking the existing BMWCCA membership. Hope i explained it well. Does anyone know the answer or where I can get it? thanks |

Wow some good info. Never knew this stuff about the CCA. Might have to join. Is there a membership card that you get as proof for the discounts when buying parts?
