Any Electrical Engineers out there?

I am trying to put together a simple wireless system using a button and some transmitter and reciever components. I can't figure it out. If any of you have a knowledge of this stuff I would GREATLY appreciate some help. I can email spec sheets on the components and some drawings of what I am trying to do if you think you might be able to help me out.

Thanks in advance...

Is this some off-the-shelf stuff, or are you trying to design it yourself ?? I'm not an electrical engineer (I'm software), but I have a fairly good knowledge of hardware.

Does the receiver and transmitter work now ??

So, if I understand your problem, you just want to use a different button on the transmitter.

Can you post links to each of the components ??

Transmitter (Model # CMD-HHLR-418)- http://www.linxtechnologies.com/Prod...d-Transmitter/

Receiver (Model # FCTN-RLY4-418) - http://www.linxtechnologies.com/Prod...nction-Module/

Button (Bulldog) - http://www.polara.com/BD_Features.htm

The button is powered from a 9V battery and the transmitter has it's own 3V supply. The receiver is powered from a land line. I know there needs to be a 5V relay (from RadioShack) somewhere in the wiring too, as well as a Resistor (also from RadioShack).

There are two button and transmitter assemblies, each in a 'pod' about 50' away from the reciever.
