My sqeaky brakes
Well as per the past posts regarding squeaky brakes I also have had the same issue so I decided to take the car (335) in for them to be looked at, they wanted me to show them whilst I drive the car, which I did and they confirmed I did indeed have squeaky brakes. They decided to apply some copper grease as a remedy, however this did not solve the problem so I took my car back to the dealer, whom after another road test to confirm I did in fact have squeaky brakes, changed the pads for chamfered ones. This also did not remedy the squeaking so yet another trip to the dealer and another test drive to confirm the allusive squeaking and now the dealer has decided to take some pictures of the offending brakes to send to "technical" at BMW head quarters, I await the next plan of action... :

I have a huge brake squeak problem too. Two trips in and no fix yet. I just don't get it.

Not sure what kind of squeak you have, mine was on first few cold stops in humid weather it would screech just before coming to a stop.
Mine is a F10, I put on Akebono euro pads and it is dead silent it has fixed my problem 100%. OE pads were Textar and rock hard like pieces of metal .. no wonder the noise |

I've been in twice - they just replaced my rotors and swapped in some softer break pads. Mind you, I just hit 3200 miles. Squeaky at first, but it's gone away.

For the F10, the earlier ones got one-piece pads (like on mine), they changed to a 2-part design (seperated with a gap in the middle) .. so even if still OE textar semi metallics, the different design may be enough to not give squeaking

I'm at 4k miles and I believe my dealer is replacing passenger side front brakes because of the squeak.

I'm having the same issue as you guys...
I'm now thinking of upgrading the entire system to either Stop Tech or M Performance in hope of no sound... But I keep asking my self why should I spend the money on upgrading when this is a BMW issue..hence I'm still at square one... Got an appointment with the service department next week...lets see what this brings yet again...

I just had my rotors/pads/wear sensors replaced for the fronts. This is the 2nd time the pads/sensors were replaced and the first time the rotors have been replaced. So far so good.
