The front reminds me a bit of the F30, specifically the way the headlight line flows into the grille.

Good: I like the front end which is sharp and quite different from the Quattroporte. When I compare both models now I can appreciate the different looks they achieve. Proportions are also excellent.

Bad: The name Ghibli sounds terrible. Also, I don't like the bootlid and rear lights. The overall look from the rear end is quite bland and Kia-like.

Undecided: Need more pics of interior. It seems they are going for a minimalist design but I feel the dash looks a bit plain; especially the area on the front passenger side.

the tail lights look IDENTICAL to something you would find on a kia. I like the simplistic look of the interior though.

They have about as much in common as the original BMW 328 and the F30 328.

Meh, looks like a top of the line Kia. It's not ugly, but it lacks presence.

As somebody who doesn't know much about Maserati, IMO this looks like the same car they've been selling for years

You do realize that Lorenzo Ramaciotti, head of Maserati's in-house styling division was formerly the head of design at Pininfarina, right?

In fact, the guy was responsible for beautiful cars like the previous QP, the GranTurismo and the 550 Maranello.

Are you implying that the results would be drastically different had it been outsourced to Pininfarina under Ramaciotti?

yes, not one single guy will determine the outcome of one design...maybe so, at Pininfarnia, but that is one lazy LCI change on this car.
