cobb w procede in map 0

is it safe to run the cobb ap mapping with a procede installed in map 0 to test out the cobb or does the procede have to be pulled out?

I don't think the Procede on Map0 is truly off, as its a stock like map but not 100% stock I believe.

why don't you ask COBB or Vishnu? they would be the most trusted opinions you could get. most of everyone on these forums would be taking educated guesses.

Yes, the PROcede is passthrough in map 0. It won't cause any issues to flash with COBB while you're in map 0.

BTW, Vishnu also flashes the DME in map 0 for the base flash. That's why I know it won't cause any issues. Just don't try to run the PROcede in anything but map 0 with the COBB tune installed.

If you wanted to stack tunes, couldn't you use cobb to control timing and fuel and control boost with the procede? For the procede you can zero out the timing and fuel corrections on whichever map you use and then adjust the boost map to whatever you want to run, that would keep gauge hijacking and allow to run stock or raised boost.

Is this right? I haven't done it yet but I plan to in the coming weeks once I solve another issue I am having.

essentially yes. @JoshBoody has been running the combo for a while - he's been helping me. It's working great so far

JP, do you have any advice to give to us who are about to switch to stacked procede and Cobb? was there anything unexpected that you had to do, or procede functions you turned off? I'm doing it to run 100% E85 on stock turbos.

thanks

There hasn't been anything unexpected. That being said Josh deserves all the credit - and I'd rather him speak about it than me because he's done all the work.

This is excellent. Will be getting a COBB soon to stack. Really appreciate the pioneering of the procede + cobb stack done by joshboody.

conversly, is it possible to do the opposite? run the procede with the cobb in stock mapping? as in, does the cobb in stock mapping directly imitate a stock car?

Does joshboody or anyone else have a thread on this? I currently have both tunes and I'm wondering what the advantage of doing this is. (tuning newb even after two years lol). I'm fbo no meth, stock snails.

Procede Map0 is truly stock. It is the Cobb that I believe to be "stock like".

is it a passthrough btw? or will target whatever the DME targets as boost and hence is 100% stock?
