Boot release button?

Is it me and bare in mind I've owned 2 E90's but where is the boot release button ?

Is there one ?

I always av to turn off the car and get out and open it or turn off the ignition and press the fob

Surely there's a button somewhere or an easier way to do it with turning the engine off

In the E92, the boot locks/unlocks when you hit the central locking button by the central air vents.

Can people not open your boot from the outside whilst you are still inside the car with ignition on?

Thats what most of us do.
American 3 series get the boot release switch next to obd port.

Serious question, does she actually know where the boot release button is located?

I've had a few people yank at my boot expecting it to just open, not knowing they have to press the hidden 'button'.

If you press the unlock button on the dash (next to DTC button) that unlocks the doors and the boot.

Agree on finding boot catch can be tricky too.

Not via the button on the key, but you can open it by hand, still.
