Audio Help in NorCal

Hows it going guys? I had a 12'' Alpine type x sub hooked up with a alpine m12 amp, however the sub just blew a few days ago and needs to be reconed.

Looks like I froze the coils on the sub.

If you guys know of anyone or any shop that offers these services please let me know. I've been searching for a few days and have not had much luck.

Thanks in advance!

type x's are pretty cheap now. if you buy it from a shop itll be the same price as a used type r. id just invest on getting a new one, a frozen coil is pretty much done for. youd have to recone the entire sub and rewrap the magnetic copper wire around the magnet again

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

ahh thanks for the advise. I just ended up getting rid of the alpine sub and replaced it with a JL audio 13w7AE and a JL box. New sub is amazing!!
