Best ever mpg from my 335d
Had a trip last Friday from Derby to South Wales. It was a gentle run which is pretty much keeping to the speed limits in a 335d anyway.
56.5 mpg after 80 miles with 57.9 average (90% motorway at this point) 50.4 mpg for the overall trip but includes 20% town work hence the mph has dropped also 44mpg showing is from when I last filled up which included a swift trip to London & back Computer has been calibrated and adjusted so when the trip computer says something like 500 miles I would knock 5% off that total to get a more accurate miles traveled. Also, this was done on my winter tyres and was quite warmish. Winter tyres are now off though. |

That is impressive. Have you previously changed your thermostats?

I don't have idrive so a few things don't make sense to me.
How come there is barely 3 hours between your arrival and departure time but the journey took just under 6 hours? Your average speed looks very low for a long motorway trip. However your average speed versus time taken doesn't match either. 52.1mph average for 5.8 hours adds up to 302miles and not 287. Just curuous how the car works things out. |
