im going to call them and give them a piece of my mind, the only thing i can think of is that ive been boiling a lot of water this month, but theres no way that accounts for almost 800 KWH over what my normal usage is
(thats like running 1000 60watt lightbulbs 24/7) |

$292 last month. Just got my bill. This was the most I've had to pay. Expected it because the A/C was on every day.

How's it cooling off in Orlando...it's been consistently in the mid to upper 90's here in JAX and there's before the heat index is factored in. Mine has been running around $200 for the past couple of months and my AC is only set on 76 during the day. Should start decreasing after this month...fortunately we don't need our heat much in FL.

That sounds about in line for summertime..........Mine ranges from 150-200 in the summers, drops off in the winter because of our gas heat, that's where they KILL you. My gas bill last winter was like 300/month, and I don't even have a large house.

90% of people that went through our house (for sale) mentioned that they have not seen the bill under $600 this summer... The pool pump definitely adds to it (I run it 10 hours/day). |

my electric bill was $220 when my ex bf was living with me and we were in a 700 sqft 1/1 apartment. when he moved out it went down to $70 a month. it turns out i think it was his crazy frankenstein computer.

his was like lots of random parts and he set it up to be water cooled so it wouldn't overheat. that was the single only thing that he took with him when he left and the power bill was reduced by over 1/2.
