What kind of extended warranty do you have? I don't believe warranty covers normal-wear items...

Clutch is considered maintenance I believe. Since it is a wear and tear item.

One my E46 I had the extended maintence but not extended warranty and they covered the clutch, but then they said I needed a new flywheel, which they claimed wouldn't be covered, and they could replace the clutch without it. I called BS on it, and after some arguing got them to replace the clutch, but they left the old flywheel. Never had any issues for the 30k I had the car after that.

I thought CPO includes 1 free clutch job. Since its part of the drivetrain. I swear there is a thread here that talks of it

The clutch is not a covered item. Only extended maintenance covers the clutch one time.
