hahah...they said they did not use the taping for the current games! LOL!
They only just sat down and studied the signal calls for future games with division rivals etc...LOL! Sad thing...they are probably only the first ones to get caught doing this...I am sure others are doing it as well.

Ok, you haters can continue to hate. If you really think the Pats are the only ones who have done this. Then how come coaches cover their mouths?
Get real. they just got caught cus the Jets were pissed they lost and cus they are getting so much rpess since they are so known. Also the tape was taken in the first quarter had no effect on the game. Not to mention Moss mad catches in triple coverage so that shit didnt even help us. We will own.

exactly.
Im sure others are doing it too- the difference is that they didnt get caught. This isnt the first time a recorder for the NE Patriots was asked to leave the game. Man I do feel bad for the commissioner though. With all these crazy events happening Im sure he's getting a lot of pressure from the public and the press. |

everyone steals signals in the nfl. all ex-coaches and ex-players have been saying it all week. AND the signs you steal will not help you at all during the game being played, it only helps if you face that team again later.
i say this is no big deal, even if you know the play coming you still have to line up and stop them. They steal signals in baseball every play. Does anyone care about that? Nooooooooooooooo. |

If everyone steals signals then how would it be helpful for future games? Everyone would know to change their signals. It'd only be useful during the game.

like i said, i'm repeating what ex-coaches and ex-players like Tiki Barber who retired last year have been saying on tv this week. There's no reason for Tiki to defend the Patriots but he says this whole thing is no big deal, no surprise either. Every team has spies. The only weird thing is that the guy was using a video camera. (aka got caught red handed). The Patriots will spy again just like every other team will continue to spy. But they'll do it with binoculars so they dont leave evidence next time.
Even if I knew the signal at the huddle, why do you think teams do so many audibles at the line of scrimmage??? Defenses do audibles pre-snap, offenses call plays and right before the snap change to something else. Everyone in the world sees Peyton Manning's signals before he snaps, what are we supposed to do, look away when he's signalling??? Signals are there for everyone to see. Teams are responsible for encrypting their signals so that it can't be used by the other team. But if your team kicks ass then it really won't matter if the other team knows what's coming. They'll just ram the play down the other teams' throat anyway! NFL rules |

as a Pats fan, I was a little bit dissapointed, obviously. But then I realized a couple of things.
a) at least 70% of NFL players are on some sort of illegal performance enhancing substance. b) Eric Mangina forgot what organization he came from..... he was in NE when Belichick was cheating. And he was taking part in the exact same thing. So now when he can't find a way to beat Belichick he cries to the commisioner and rats his old coach out. Pu$$y. c) Other fans are just jealous and want a reason to call the Pats 3 SB titles a hoax. However the Pats will quell that by winning one this year. Without "cheating". |
