What color wheel would go best on AW?

I'm looking for a set of wheels and can't decide on the finish.

Potential wheels:

AG M355 Machine Gunmetal: I know how that looks since many has already done that setup.

AG M310 - How would the Dolphin Grey look on AW? Matte Black blends well but it reminds me too much of my ugly black steel winter rims.

Anyone with the AG M310 or would the M359 look better?

I have an AW MSport coming and I don't think there is a bad colour for wheels on a white car

I'd suggest going Silver or Gunmetal... but I beg of you don't do black wheels.

Gunmetal or grey would look great....nice contrast and you can still tell what the wheels look like. with black wheels it's hard to discern what the hell it is..

+ a billion. Seriously, any and every color goes with white! I saw a white mini at Bimmerfest. The wheels were TEAL. It looked awesome. I saw a white baseline 328 with red interior and RED stock wheels. Looked fantastic. Gold wheels look awesome on white (see China 328 somewhere on the forums).

I will agree black wheels are hopeless. You may as well get any wheel if you black because you can't see it. If you are going a one piece wheel go silver. If you are going a 2 or 3 piece wheel then go a darker centre or gold if you like. Better still don't listen to any of us and do what you like!! It's your car so make it the way that makes you happy not other people

These are the wheels I'm looking for but its just too bad that AG don't make the M310 in Dolphin Grey anymore for BMW.

The next closest wheel wou;d be some replica in satin gunmetal or VMR V710 in gunmetal but theirs is with a gloss clearcoat.

Please let me know if any of you know where to get them.

Silver, Gunmetal or Black all look great on white: think of a storm trooper . Black does not photograph well, and shows the brake dust the most in my many experiences but it definitely looks the most aggressive. Here is dark gunmetal on mine:

I was just going to ask the same but then realized in his sig they are E46 ZCP wheels so they should be 19x8 +47 front and 19x9.5 +27?
Turner has them new, but I'm going to try looking for some good condition used

...although these Work CR Kai Ultimate are definitely a contender if easily available in a higher offset than the M3 sizing
Might have to hit up the homies at Work Wheels USA.

Yep, but the front have a 12mm spacer and the rears I had machined down 8mm, then of course had them powdercoated in the same (very similar) gunmetal as the M-performance wheels

...so +35mm effective all around? They sit pretty flush. The fitment is nice.

Going to order a set of satin/matte gunmetal wheels. Going with a square setup due to xdrive and the benefits of tire rotation. Car is used for work and DD so lots of mileage will be put on it.

19x8.5 ET35 Square with 225/40/19 General GMAX
