What Cologne(s) Do You Wear...?
I am sure we all share in many similar vices/hobbies/likes. One for me is appearance which includes smelling good. I'm married with kids now so it's not THAT serious. But my wife certainly appreciates me "keeping myself together" still after a decade of marriage.
That being said... What fragrances do you wear? My current stock: But this stuff right here fellas... On a whole nother level: CREED Virgian Island Water

I did a 'search' and didn't see a dedicated thread. My bad if there is.
@ mmahany: yes indeed. All but 2 of the ones I posted, I've worn for many years!

Green Irish Tweed. That's it. Nothing else.
Well, I do have other colognes, but they're all run-of-the-mill. I highly suggest GIT for anyone who hasn't tried it. It has some great base notes. People say it's a slightly more sophisticated version of Cool Water, though I've never tried Cool Water so I can't comment on that. The opening notes are quite floral, but the base notes are phenomenal. Women go crazy for it. I can only find GIT at Neimann Marcus. In my opinion, GIT works best in a nice, cool, dry environment. It does not stand up well to sweat or humid conditions (although, most colognes probably fall into this category). Edit: Personally I have the classic black bottle with the atomizer: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/CREED-.../prod42580007/ But every time I have to refill, I get one of these: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/CREED-...s/prod7401222/ And I simply pour it into my black bottle as needed. So It's $300 for the initial 4 ounces but you can buy in bulk and get 8 ounces for $420 which is a great deal. Last edited by NemesisX; 06-30-2013 at 02:31 AM.. |

Something it wrong with the OT search function though. I know there was one, but i couldn't find it either. Then i searched for stuff on the front page, verbatim and no results showed up.

There certainly is, however you can no longer search the Off-Topic section of the site so this is going to keep happening.

I have a very unique smelling cologne in my collection. Its distinguished scent exudes elegance and sophistication. It's called BO.

Speaking of showers, I have a liquid soap recommendation as well
If you haven't tried Irish Spring mositure blast, give it a try. This is not the ho-hum Irish Spring that's available in most stores. You have to get the "moisture blast" variant. Mositure blast basically looks and smells like heavy grade dishwasher soap. It's super long lasting after you take a shower to the point where it's almost like a cologne, but it's very subtle. |
