Formula 1 Magyar Nagydíj 2013
Formula 1 summer season sucks!! Without Turkish GP, we had a three weeks break with YDT. Then after the Hungarian GP, the Summer break kicks in and literally NO ACTION in F1 nor factory.
Revised tire compounds will be introduced this weekend. Who will that in favor to? RBR? Now the tires will be constructed symmetrical, teams can rotate to prolong the life of each compound. Race Date: 28 Jul 2013 Circuit Name: Hungaroring First Grand Prix: 1986 Number of Laps: 70 Circuit Length: 4.381 km Race Distance: 306.630 km Lap Record: 1:19.071 - M Schumacher (2004) Tire Compounds Provided: Prime: Medium (White) Option: Soft (Yellow) Rain: Cinturato Intermediate (Green) / Cinturato Wet (Blue) F1 TIMETABLE (Budapest Local Time) Fri 26 July 2013 Practice 1 10:00 - 11:30 Practice 2 14:00 - 15:30 Sat 27 July 2013 Practice 3 11:00 - 12:00 Qualifying 14:00 Sun 28 July 2013 Race 14:00 F1 TIMETABLE (Pacific Time) Fri 26 July 2013 Practice 1 01:00 - 02:30 Practice 2 05:00 - 06:30 Sat 27 July 2013 Practice 3 02:00 - 03:00 Qualifying 05:00 Sun 28 July 2013 Race 05:00 F1 TIMETABLE (Eastern Time) Fri 26 July 2013 Practice 1 04:00 - 05:30 Practice 2 08:00 - 09:30 Sat 27 July 2013 Practice 3 05:00 - 09:00 Qualifying 08:00 Sun 28 July 2013 Race 08:00 Note: FP3, Qualifying and Race will be broadcast on NBCSN.

E90SLAM, Pretty sure your posted Eastern Time F1 Timetable times need some fixing (appears they're PT).
Agree - It's good to get the F1 circus going again. |

Fox used to do the same thing as well. Given FOM requires broadcasters to show several races in local free channels. Fox used to show it in local Fox affiliates, with DELAYED "exclusive". By the time we get to watch it, the race was over for 5 hours. Now NBC just show live on their other network channels (MSNBC/CNBC). And immediately re-run on NBCSN. DOH!!! My bad!

but if you have a solid internet connection, the best way to watch it is to either stream the BBC or the Sky sports broadcast, miles and miles ahead of the three stooges on NBC |

To me, live is critical. Also, if you set DVR up, knowing the schedule and check local listing. Don't blame the channel. Three out of four races I pointed out in red that MSNBC or CNBC will be showing live instead. If people missed it and solely rely on DVR. I can't help you more. Anyways, Fox won't be showing delayed on Speed but on Fox local channels as well. Then never bother to replay until the next day. I'd rather NBC showing on other channels LIVE than stupid delayed broadcast.

not understanding the rotation thing. the team will come in and rotate taking a longer pit stop than putting on new?

So, less tires used in practice and qualifying, more tires available during race for more flexible strategy. At least that's what I heard from both Steve Matchett and Ted Kravis about directional tires in British GP.

Each driver is allowed to use 11 set of dry compounds (six prime, and five option); and four sets of inters, three sets of wet tires. http://www.formula1.com/inside_f1/ru.../8680/fia.html Quote:
