Just wanted to take a second to say thanks to the Bimmerpost staff for significantly improving the mobile app! Thank you for listening to the forum members and making the changes we wanted. Best forum app available.....period!

you using the downloaded app? B/c last time I checked, the app needed a lot of work.

Version 3.0.0. Adds search, notifications, attachment, etc. Certainly an improvement by my standards and requires time and money to do.

you must be on iphone...b/c the Android is still on v1.72, while it's better than it was a year ago, it's not fantastic, still has horrible reviews as of even a few weeks ago, but it is slightly easier to use than on my chrome browser in some respects, I'm still on the fence, i'll try it for a week.

80 percent of smartphones shipped last quarter were android. Time to work on that version now

It has some bugs but is lightyears ahead of the previous one. It's also considerably faster.

Yeah, lots of people love using a phone powered by a company that will suck up and sell every bit of your private data to the highest ad bidder. Know why? Because Android phones are cheap. However, we all own M3s right? We can afford the real thing

Android version 3 is coming (see the status thread)

And despite some random out of context stats about android sales, we have FAR more iPhone users which is why I always tackle iOS first. But the 3.0 series is being aligned between the two platforms so that when updates come in the future we can roll them out together in a very short interval
