Those flared fenders are aggressive, didn't think Audi has it in them to build one. It's almost poor taste in their design philosophy, something to be seen in a subbie

There was a different decade, different company then. I could say they use to build cars that breaks down every 5,000 miles ;-)

ha. true. now they break down every 20k miles!

Audi feed very heavily off their rally history....and the flared fenders have been a big part of their tradition since those rally days on a host of all different models! It is in line with their design aesthetic.

Gorgeous car and pics!

I saw a blue one with the aluminium pack driving around the other day. I tried following but I obviously lost sight very quickly lol.

On our last trip to Germany we got passed continually on the autobahn by black station wagons. I think they're the German equivalent of the SUV here in the states. No lack of speed to them, though.

Never really liked Audi before in my life, but I have a 2.0TDI Avant here in Sydney and I kind of like it as a get around

Sure it handles like my M3...if two of the wheels fell off, but its a cool car to live with. The RS4's I've had the pleasure of being in have amazing straight line power

I want the RS4 Avant so bad it hurts. Looks so good, Audi knows how to design a wagon. Much sleeker than other wagons.

Besides the excessive front end over hang on the profile view the car looks good. A wider stance via spacers would really do wonders for the overall stance.
