I love how people can just hit someone and take off
Anyways this rental was through enterprise, so what's the deal? My insurance have to pay for this or i have to fork out some cash?

enterprise can be a major pita when this happens.if you did not get the waiver they will collect your deductable and then you will have to make a claim w/ your insurance or pay for the repairs out of pocket. was the rental on a gold credit card? my visa has rental coverage only when it is used to pay for the rental car.

Same thing happened to our black Mercedes SL 550 on black 20's.....funny how I never found a note with contact information.
If you're going to go around hitting people, you have to learn to pay the consequence when you do hit somebody while sucking at driving. If you're a good driver and can avoid hitting stuff with your car, this will never be a problem. |

If this was a true loaner or the dealership is paying for the rental then the OP's the credit card coverage would useless because he didn't use it to pay. Credit card damage waiver doesn't kick-in unless you're using the card to pay for the entire rental.

Everytime BMW is out of loaner cars, we have to go to enterprise. They are such a PITA, and have the most shittiest cars ever. I'm fcking getting my shit serviced to druid a fucking tank SUV, terrible. I had the worst vehicles.
Anyways, the first time I ever got a loaner car was a silver E90, I believe. I took that shhit to some parking lot/building and when I was baccking up some dude came out of no where like right on my bumper and I "tapped" him. I did no damage and he had a POS car... when I tapped him I was with a friend and he jst started laughing.. sayn... "Dude you really tapped him.. LOLOLLOLOL" Anyways the old dude, just said watch out.. I was like OK? Cool stuff *hug* |

That'll buff out enough to the point they won't even see it.
Or take it to a shop offer one of the guys $50 for quickly buff it out with one of their polishing machines. When you return the car, park it close to a car on that side, so if/when they do the walk around they won't see it very well if the buffing doesn't work so well. But based on what I see, the black marks will buff out no problems. Good Luck. |

If you didn't get a damage waiver form the rental, you will need to claim ur own insurance for any repair work. Your credit card ins is only excess coverage and will not cover comprehensive liability unless coverage is denied by ur primary insurance or exceeds the amount of coverage (I got hit while in a rental and found out da hard way).
It looks like some of the black marks = gouged paint which will be tough. I agree wid the members who suggest buffing it out, use a clear coat safe buffing/polishing compound (McGuires, Mothers, etc.) and clean it as much as possible. It won't fix gouged paint but may lessen the effects of the blk marks. Usually they do the once over inspection and may miss the marks. Its worth a try! Good luck and let us know how it goes! |

The black marks are not from the other's car paint...the black marks are the plastic part of my own bumper that is showing... the guy/girl hit me hard enough to scrape paint off, so i don't think this can be repaired...
