Slide Fire automatic rifle conversion for AR15 & AK47 - yes, they're DOJ/ATF legal!
They also make a conversion kit for AR-15s http://www.slidefire.com/products/ar15 for $370, or you can pick up a converted AR-15 from them for $1850.

They are a lot of fun. You could get a deal on them when AR ammo was nearly $2/ round!
I was thinking of converting my 22lr to one of those.

It is the same kind of trick paint baller use, you are still pulling the trigger each time by they have mechanize that allows you to pull it faster than you normally can.
I actually saw on which has a mechanism that attached to the trigger guard and you crank it like a gatling gun and it turns a semi-auto into almost full auto. it may not be too reliable |

They are on gunbroker for $275...... Everywhere else shows $360.
Then a trigger.... Another $250 unless you get the Slidefire for $175. I was looking last night, hovering over the buy now button, but didn't pull the trigger. (pun intended)

I have to agree, i want one now, 22 is so much fun for things like this and at the end of the day you did not break then bank.
With the much lead that fast a 22 version is just as good as protection as a higher caliber version. |

Why the new trigger? My buddy has one with stock trigger and it seems to work well.

Either way, i believe the trigger assembly is also compatible with ARs so if i don't need it, i'll just sell it. Got a pretty sweet deal on a Timney 3# trigger. So i should break even or better if i sell it.

If they simply installed a spring into the stock that would bounce off recoil, the whole thing would immediately became illegal. |
