Boston Restaurant

Hey..I'm coming up to Boston this weekend and would like to find a Restaurant in Boston. I am staying at Club Quarters and would prefer something nice around there. I'm going with the girl I'm "talking" to right now and would like to take her out to a nice dinner out there but have no idea where to go. Only problem is she is a vegetarian. Do any of you Bostonians know of a good place I could go to? Not tooooo expensive but a nice place. Just bought a condo so I'm on a budget..haha.Thanks!

Legal Seafood?
I remember there is a burger place in Harvard Square which is really good. They name their burgers selections (menu) with celebrity names and really good theme.
Also plenty selection of Italian restaurants at North End.

Check out Food Network, maybe it'll give you some hints and suggestions. Or ask Nikki, she's in Boston.

(I used to live in Boston if you're curious and see I'm currently in CA)

Strict vegetarian? What type of food are you looking for? North End has tons of great Italian restaurants, where I am by the Waterfront has great seafood.

Ate there when I was in town visiting colleges and it was excellent. Not too expensive like you said, but it's not cheap either.

Itialian - just head down to Northend or Carlos in Allston which is one of my favorite.
Chinese - Chinatown
Thia - Rod Dee in Kenmore or Brookline,
Japanese - Oishii in Chestnut Hill or the food court near Harvard Square (Moma Cafe is the best one in the food court)
French - Brasserie Jo in Copley square
American - Just goto Wendys
Korean - Koreana in Cambridge
highend stuff are all in the Southend, expensive but good stuff...they have all types of food there. A night out with a GF in Southend could cost $100-$200 (including valet cuz theres no way you can find a parking spot there)

Where is the ClubQuarters? never heard of it...tell me where it is and i'll find you some good food

Northend and Chinatown is near you.........there are alot of restaurants in Faneuil Hall, mostly for tourist.
http://www.faneuilhallmarket**********/dining.html

Can your GF eat seafood? There are a few seafood restaurants in that area or you could go Legal Seafood....1 in Copley mall and 1 near Park Plaza, both are 10 minutes away by car.

Giacomo's in the North End. Right on Hanover st. Best place for not that pricey. Will cost you $40-45 tops with tip. And that was because I got a seafood plate which was $17 I believe.

Here is the drawback. No reservations, only cash, kind of cramped.

Well worth it though. Also check out Vittoria's great Tiramisu for $3 bucks. Also Trani's has ice cream stuffed cupcaked and everything else. In the North End.

China Town go to any of the PHO places. They will have PHO in the name. Cheap and good.

I'd recommend Armani Cafe, but it closed in August.

Tangerino is really nice if you like to smoke hookah.

Chow-chows (sp?) in Chinatown should have a handful of veggie dishes. Look for them online, for reviews.

Using Google maps (find local businesses), I came up with a long list looking for 'vegan' near 'Quincy Market'. First several:

Never heard of it. The dishes have some weird items in them. Not saying I wouldn't eat there. Would be a good change.

It's consistently rated as one of the best French restaurants in Boston

Also, if you have access to a car, you can Blue Ginger by Ming Tsai in Wellesley
