Finally took posession of 'my precious'. Happiest day of my life. Better than I expected. Drove around for 6 hours straight going to friends and family. Eveyone was impressed even though the car was all dirty due to rain and the fact that I didn't let the dealer detail the outside.
Big thanks to everyone on the forum for your help. I'll be following the Picus step by step really soon.

I'll post more pics later.

my car was on the "Toronto". Arrived in Halifax 9/25, dealer got it Oct 8, took ownership on the 11th.

Actually I'm the one being tailgated most of the time because I take my sweet ass time.
This engine is plenty good enough for me. Very glad to be in the 328i family.

wow u did a great job detailing it...Its very clean....Wow i didn't know u went with black!!! Black is one of the hardest colors to keep clean....You did a great job...Good luck with it and enjoy

funny you asked Hal. . . as I pulled into the parking lot the seagulls thought I came to feed them, so they started coming towards me and flying around my car, but I ran screaming after them flailing my arms like a madman. People must have thought I was mentally disturbed, but I was really afraid they were gonna shit all over my car.
As for the ladies, I saw them coming and thought "get the fuck away from here!" lol.

+1. Your parking location=failure. The demographics of the typical Walmart shopper indicate that they drive a 1988 Tempo or 1994 Taurus. STEER CLEAR OF WALMART (AND IF YOU'RE IN WESTERN CANADA, SUPERSTORE) PARKING LOTS.

I'll be watching for those plates around ottawa. If you see a SG 490 323i with 19s, or a BlueLine cab giving you thumbs up that is me.

Oh and you can get away without the front plate in ottawa. Cops will just assume you are from Quebec when they see your car from the front...
