I wasn't going to buy it at first, but COD: BO2 has become redundant and I needed something to spark my interest again. I have to say, I was glued to it yesterday. I typically get bored playing games for more than an hour, but the overall game play is pretty awesome.


What's your take? Yay or nay?

Yay!!! Been logging about 8 hours a day. Truly amazing game with everything you can hope for. The opportunities are endless and that's why they raked in $1B in 3 days. Love it.

Yeehaww. Don't know how many hours I have in so far but it's probably a good amount..

Can't wait for GTA Online to be released. I'll probably be on that a lot. I usually get bored with a game after an hour or two as well. But there just isn't really any repetition in this game at all to get you bored lol

I decided to take a trip to the mountains, and the views from the top are pretty damn awesome for a game. Considering where these games originated from (GTA 3rd person view of little blobs running around, for those who didn't play), to GTA Vice where most scenery had to load as you moved forward, to having the whole scape loaded right there is pretty incredible.

I'm trying not to rush through story mode so quick, so I find myself running off and doing other things (I've golfed once, that was kind of fun).

Same here. It's hard not to though because the story strikes so much interest. I hope it doesn't take them TOO long to come out with some DLC. I'm sure they'll be milking game sales as long as they can though...

The cut scenes are awesome. Trevor is by far the most interesting out of the three. Guy cracks me up

I'm on ps3 and I'm addicted to it. I've been working through the storyline. I'm only 20% through it, I can only play for maybe 2 hrs per night, so I don't get much done. Definitely addicting. I'm probably going to just goof off around the city tonight, since I haven't done that yet

same here, I can only play 2-3 hours max per day, im roughly at 30% though

the game is so addicting, so much to do. The tennis game is pretty decent, I like doing the car races too. The story line is great too, much better than previous version. Being able to control different characters is a nice twist

For the past few days I've been playing, I think I'm only at about 21%. I find myself starting out go along story, then I start venturing off and just blowing people up. Got to 4 stars and stood on the peak of a mountain and kept taking out helicopters until they finally shot me and rolled down the mountain side. lol.

I rolled through the military base barricades @ about 100mph at night and those bitches were all up in my grill after about 2 seconds. I think they had 3 choppers on me!

I'm still only about 21% through. Some people beat the game in two days. Seems like a waste of money at that point. I like dragging it out if I can. Plus I get way too side tracked.

I finished the story within 1 week, and I already got 300 Million $ on my bank (no Cheats used), and still whenever I come home I cant wait to play again even though I finished the story line. There is so much to explore and I love how they put in so much details in this game. Sometimes I just wander arround on foot since you overlook so much stuff when driving by with the car....

Only thing thats disapointing is how stupid the cops AI is, there hasnt been any improvement from what I can tell. Thats like the last 10% thats missing to make it a perfect game.

I would have loved to have the opportunity to play on the cops side, kinda like LA Noire (http://www.gamespot.com/l-a-noire/vi...eview-6313909/), but in a modern setting....

Im at about 49% as of yesterday. One thing that bothers me is sometimes the yellow circular markers blend in with dirt and stuff so I'll just barely miss it and go past. Would have been nice if they made the indicators a little more noticeable. But that's just me finding at least one thing to complain about.

Also, today is the release of online, so I'm going to start a tally on all the bugs I run into. lol

Up must be a relative statement cause I cant get past the first mission. Just says loading forever. Let it sit for over 30 minutes...

Does anyone have any insight as to what the map at the top of Mt. Chiliad in the gondola area indicates? It appears to illustrate some bonus features within the mountain triggered by a UFO. Perhaps if you find all of the UFO pieces and deliver them to that UFO guy?

Haven't tried finding all the pieces of the UFO yet (because there's 50 and it will take forever) so I couldn't tell you. But after finding all the pieces, you do go back to the UFO guy.

Yup spoke too soon. Tried doing different methods to get it to work and still doesn't. Tried to do Solo and the race doesn't even load. With players the race loads but just gets stuck in the city screen and says either loading session or waiting for players. I let it sit for about 20 minutes and turned it off.

So, I installed BF4 beta so I'll be on that now instead.

Yup. I have a feeling it will be a while before online is actually worth it. I let it load for about a half hour then just quit out and started playing solo again.

I wonder if this will make some players drop off completely...
