Downpipes with OFT

Hey guys so I'm looking into getting some downpipes. I am mainly looking at VRSF since I have their exhaust so I figure they'll match up quite well.

My question is will I still need a BMS DP fix with the OFT. I know the jb4 doesn't require one but does the OFT?

Thanks!

No need for BMS DP Fix. Just use TunerPro and disable the Cat 1 and 2 toggles then load up your map.

Only if your state allows for one not ready monitor and you get all the others ready.

Can someone do the same with the Cobb ap?
(Currently own the oft)
Seems like cobb users still buy the bms dp fix. With my subaru the accessport completely took care of it.
With cobb I thought it just stopped the light from appearing in the dash but cats never came back as *ready*.

All tunes that clear the CEL for downpipes will not pass the ready codes.

Only the DP fix will allow the ready codes but according to BMS you are not supposed to use the DP fix for long term so let your tune do the CEL work until you need to go for inspection then you can use the DP fix to get the ready codes or revert back to stock.

You will still not pass a sniffer test if you have one.

Ok so to bring this back up since I have emissions this month. My O2 sensors are disabled via TunerPro. There is no sniffer in NC anymore, just OBDII apparently. Does this mean if everything else checks out on my car, I'll pass?

In my state (Mass) you need to have 3 out of 4 readiness, with no CEL. I have OFT and it auto cleared my CEL and I passed with cats not ready

Is there a way to disable or code off using INPA? For tunerPro you need flash tablet right?

they must not check for readiness then. when I use to register by vehicle in NC they definitely hooked up to OBD (would give print out) and sniffer. Sounds like they are going the way of Virginia which is nothing more than a visual inspection.

Just saw this. To clarify, NC allows for 1 monitor not be ready for all vehicles 2001 and newer, and 2 for older cars (1996-2000).

Thanks for the vid! Already have stage 2 map ready for downpipes!
