CIP version reveal? how to?
1. Is there a way to find out what CIP version your car currently has?
I found the hidden menu thread.... there is a on that says SW <1.06>, is that your CIP version or not? http://e90.wetpaint.com/page/BC+hidden+menus?t=anon 2. What is the current BMW CIP version for the e90? 330? I am bringing mine into dealer and want to make sure they actually do something. They said they would update my CIP for free cause i bitched about the poor service i received. (long story) They are charging me ~100$ for activate alarm and program auto door lock for me. ( i now everyone else paid $50....lol) I get the feeling they will not do the CIP upgrade but tell me they did......

Yes, that is a way to reveal the CIP version of your car. There was a post about this before on the forum, I'll search for it an post it here again.
