NJ's members. need your help.
I live in Brooklyn.
My friends will visit New York next week~ They told me that they want to visit Atlantic City. But I've never been there before. Is anybody know how to get there from Manhattan?? which highway or any bridge should I take?? thanks!! |

Take I-95 south to Philadelphia (In Philly, make sure you follow center city I-95 S). From there, get on I-76 in Philadelphia and cross the Walt Whitman Bridge. From there, follow the signs and you're on the AC expressway. Easy as pie!

Of course, now that I'm looking at a map, it looks like it would be easier to get on I-95 South in Newark (coming from Manhattan) to I-195 South to I-295 South, and that will put you on the AC expressway (Route 42), so you don't have to go through downtown Philadelphia.
If you want the scenic route going through downtown Philly, go the first way I told you which is a little longer. The second way is a direct shot. |

Well, I get an "E" for effort, right? I mean it was a pretty good try for off the top of my head...I mean, I am like 100 miles northwest of philadelphia... I'm not THAT familiar with the area. But I go through Philly when I go to AC-of course, I'm coming from a different direction.

i was just in AC a week ago. We took the subway from queens to port authority. We took a bus that goes directly into AC. It was $30 round trip and they give you $20 free to gamble with. The bus ride was bout 90 mins.

The people in Bethlehem are sort of outraged about it...probably about as much as the guys down in Gettysburg! I think that idea for Gettysburg was rejected, though. I know the closest casino they'll be building by me is about 20 miles away in Wilkes-Barre, at the Pocono Downs Horse Racetrack. Bethlehem Steel is my avatar, by the way! |
