Leather Seat Repair
Any of you guys have suggestions regarding what you'd use as far as repairing your leather seats?
I have a the Black Dakota Leather and after only a year, I've noticed that the driver's seat side has begun to fade/wear down due to constant use. I've looked at a ton of repair kits and DIY regarding this, but I'd also like to know if anyone else here has had any first hand experience with repairing their own, and also their results. Thanks in advance. Last edited by Shenlin; 10-23-2013 at 10:22 AM.. |

Have you tried discussing with your dealer? That's excessive wear unless its caused by abuse or cleaning with solvents/abrasives....

BTW: Wherever you got that quote from, it's wrong. 2/3rds of adults don't have methane in their farts. http://bit.ly/1ifgN8o |

The Cougar-Be-Gone Formula
I used a mixture of OEM Dakota Leather Black Paint as well as the Paint included from the Furniture Clinic Leather Repair Kit. And after a whole lotta cleaning, washing, sanding, and hair dryer-ing I feel this is probably as good as I'm going to get it, and personally it really is hard to tell with the naked eye unless you really look at it. Just thought some would be interested in my results. |
