EXHAUST question about test pipes HELP NEW TO BMW
i saw that test pipes are very cheap and effective way to mod and lot of gains but does it cause a problem with the sensors or the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ? or with emissions? please need more info currently on DCI / JB4

1)if where you live they do a smog test for emissions then you won't pass with test pipes. 2)if where you live they do an OBD test, then all you need is a BMS DP fix and you'll pass (We carry that) 3)if you're not going for an OBD emission test, you shouldn't have the DP fix on because it messes with fueling. 4)CEL is the least of your worries because COBB will disable these codes on their stage/2+/race, and piggies (JB4, procede) use auto clear. So, you won't see anything on the dash |
