What to get next ????
Thinking about another car..... looking to spend around 40-45k
I know these cars cover a good spread of driving machines...I went to a local dealership and saw a 545 preowned with about 30k on it... and it really caught my eye....put some wheels on that and im set! Then I saw the M3 and though "damm" thats a dream Then I thought about the new A5 and putting some wheels on that to give it a sexier look and maybe some minor upgrades(due to its lack of power) E46 M3 used obviously- Pros: awesome car to drive Cons: porbably driven hard, warranty? =( Preowned E60 545- Pros-wonderfull car, luxurious, 5er cons- big, mpg? resale? New A5- pros-sexy as hell, head turner, beautiful interior cons- not much of a drivers car, Whats up E90post!!!!?

id go for the M3 i have to its one hell of a car and they are indestructable, as for mpg the 545 is probably better than the m3 , but you cant ignore the A5 it is gorgeous and the first audi i would love to have. But i still think the M3 if you are a driving enthusiast

e46 M3 because its the most drivers car of the group. Plus it holds its value better than the other 2 considering what each of these will cost you.

The 5 series before the facelift looks ugly as hell imo. If you could get rid of the amber in the headlights and somehow fit the new taillights with the LED bars somehow...
I'd personally go with the A5. Just went around shotgun in an S5 demo car...if I had that interior and those looks I could care less about power and performance...at least that's how I felt in the drive. It was just like my car, darkish silver with red interior. omg I fell in love.

M3. You can still find 2005/06 M3's under warranty and with low miles.

Choices I would looks at right now:
-335i (duh) -G37 -A5 (sickass car btw...atleast the S5 was when I used the demo car) Choices I would have if I was spending the same amount of $$$ but if I waited a year or so: -Depreciated S5 (hell yes) -Depreciated RS4 (eh...)

Look for a 2007 335 someone is looking to offload (looks like there are always a few people trying to get out of their lease on the "cars for sale" board.
Great engine, very comfortable car. No real compromises. |
